DIY: the 5-minute Canadian Redneck Wine Rack

If you make your own wine, you’re going to need somewhere to store the 30-odd bottles.

We’d all like a traditional grotto or high-end wine fridge, but an affordable alternative is tin cans.

  1. Cut off the top and bottom of the cans with a can opener.
  2. Measure the area you want to put the rack.
  3. Duct tape the cans together.

Voila – a redneck wine rack that Red Green would be proud of:

I have always wanted a rack for my wine collection but the one at the store was way out of my budget. This is the reason I think that this is the perfect wine case for my house.
