A satisfying, sweet, chewy rye bread for the bread machine:
2 teaspoons of salt
2 teaspoons of caraway seeds (optional)
2 tablespoons of butter
¼ cup brown sugar
1 cup of rye flour
1 1⁄2 cups warm water
3 cups of bread flour
1 1⁄2 teaspoons of yeast
Instructions:
- Let all ingredients rise to room temperature
- Select whatever setting you prefer. I went with a light crust.
